NLTG can help you hire an I.T apprentice in the Wirral

Every business owner is aware of how important it is for organisations to stay up to date with the latest information technology developments. Knowing how ICT-based systems can improve your existing work processes can be a powerful way of increasing your organisation’s overall efficiency and effectiveness. Digital marketing techniques are becoming the norm, and as businesses gain a social media presence it can be hard to compete for client visibility using outdated systems. Simultaneously, a modern approach to marketing and attracting often relies on understanding how to respond to enquiries in a timely manner using online platforms.

By hiring an I.T. apprentice, your Wirral firm can quickly acquire a helping hand in keeping up to date with the modern IT changes that are impacting UK businesses, now more than ever. NLTG supplies I.T. apprentices who are at an intermediate Level 2 or a higher Level 3 to Wirral businesses to assist them in accomplishing exactly this, while boosting their profitability and productivity.

In terms of profitability, it’s often the case that recruiting an I.T. apprentice can have a positive impact on your business bottom line. When it comes to hiring through an apprenticeship program, the recruitment process itself offers a reliable and easy way to save on the costs of advertising vacancies, interviewing and conducting background screening. All NLTG apprentices are deemed fit for your workplace only once they have met our English and Maths criteria, and throughout their employment with your firm, they receive supportive tutoring from NLTG trainers. Once your I.T. apprentice has started working with your firm, they are a source of valuable assistance around the office, and employers are typically able to make up the costs of hiring an apprentice within a very short period of time.

It’s also the case that Wirral businesses are often eligible for an additional £1,000 financial incentive for each I.T. apprentice they recruit. Your apprentice recruit will train at your place of work, meaning that on top of this incentive, your company is gaining a new apprentice employee without the costs of travel. Finally, the costs of training a fresh, keen-to-learn apprentice recruit are frequently covered in part, if not completely, by the government.

Apprentice recruits are additionally, a strategic way to help boost employee motivation and morale within your organisation. Hiring a fresh recruit sends a positive message to your employees that your company is thriving and growing, which can raise organisational commitment. New apprentice hires are, more often than not, very dedicated and loyal to the companies in which they train, and as such are generally to be found with their original employers long after they have attained the qualifications related to their apprenticeships.

Besides Level 2 and 3 I.T. apprentices, NLTG are a provider of apprenticeship programmes for existing employees in Wirral businesses across a range of fields. In most cases, our apprentice recruits will train within your workplace, meaning that your firm is able to skip the time investment and financial expenses associated with travel. We offer apprenticeships in industries including, but not limited to: Business Administration, Catering and Hospitality, Customer Service, Retail, General Manufacturing, Furniture Occupations, Business Improvement Techniques, Glass Occupations, Team Leading and Management, and Warehouse and Logistics.

Apprentices and existing employees often find mutual benefit in working together – In fact, the recruitment of new apprentices is often seen by current staff as a positive sign that your business is thriving and growing. It’s often the case that there are positive impacts on staff morale, engagement and commitment that can have a knock-on effect on individual employee performance. Reducing staff turnover is another benefit your business may enjoy by recruiting a Southport-based I.T. apprentice. As well as accumulating the particular skill needed within your organisation, apprentices are very often shown to remain with a company long after they’ve been trained. A newly-trained recruit is also a surefire way to introduce new attitudes and an enthusiastic dynamic to your existing workforce.

Apprentices are employees of your company, with the same rights and responsibilities as any other employee.

If you employ an apprentice aged under 18, the law states that they must not work more than 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.  They are also entitled to paid holidays and rest breaks of at least 30 minutes if their shift lasts more than four and half hours.
