Furniture COVE

The aim of the centre is to train company employees in Woodmachining, Upholstery and Polishing and Finishing. Apprentices are trained to a high standard by fully qualified staff who have years of experience in the furniture industry and are mostly NLTG ex-apprentices. Attendees to the CoVE will receive training on both traditional and CNC machinery incorporating sawing, planing, moulding and sanding machines. There is also a facility for training in modern and contemporary upholstery and spray/hand polishing techniques.
