Award for Personal Licence Holders

Course Overview

This 1 day nationally recognised qualification provides training in current licensing laws. It is aimed at individuals working within licensed premises, at both operational and supervisory level. Successful completion of the qualification allows application for a personal licence, which is required by anyone authorising the sale of alcohol from licenced premises.

All licensed premises must have an allocated personal licence holder, known as the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS), who is responsible for authorising the sale of alcohol.

• 1 full day tuition.
• Final exam.
• Registration and Certification with Highfield.
• Delivery at NLTG in Accrington. Numbers permitting, this course can be delivered on company premises.

Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH).
