St Catherine’s Hospice is an independent charity which supports local people affected by life-shortening conditions to have quality of life, to the end of life.
As a welcoming café, The Mill is open to everyone – from business people networking over coffee, to families tucking into tea and cake, or friends enjoying a meal out together.
Set in the stunning grounds of St Catherine's Park, the café serves up hearty and wholesome dishes lovingly prepared using locally sourced, seasonal produce.

There's everything from top quality barista coffees – including our own unique St Catherine's blend – to breakfast, cakes, soups, salads, sandwiches, afternoon teas and larger plates on offer. You can relax and unwind in a tranquil spot, whilst enjoying a dish from the varied, seasonal menu.

The café and the rest of the building also benefits from free WiFi, making it a perfect choice for business meetings

And the best bit? All profits raised through the café go back to supporting the specialised care of St Catherine's Hospice.

- You'll also experience great variety – covering the café, our events and the hospice.
- You will assist the Senior Chefs on duty with storage, preparation and cooking of all food items and get a wide range of experience.
- You'll take on a full-time role in the kitchen under the supervision of passionate chefs alongside your training. Not only do you gain a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship, you will be able to support the running of our kitchens and get the personal satisfaction of knowing your talent and skills are doing good in your local comm
