Case Study

James Wilson at All Hallows school

I have been an apprentice at All Hallows Catholic High School for nearly 2 years and I have very much enjoyed the experience of earning money and learning more about ICT in the workplace. I have received great support from both my manager and my NLTG assessor from the very beginning of my apprenticeship and I’m glad to say I have now successfully completed my Level 2 ICT User Skills NVQ. I have also been given the chance to improve my people skills when dealing with ICT issues in any of the departments. I’m able to work independently with confidence or if needed with the support from my co-worker or manager, who I can go to if I am unsure of how to perform a task. I hope to continue this great experience and I am now working hard to complete my Level 3 NVQ to a high standard.
