This is an exciting opportunity for talented individuals to join a top-quality Training Provider with a proven track record in the Training and Development sector.

Are you looking for an opportunity to work within the Skills for Life team, delivering English sessions as part of the Study Programme curriculum?

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • • Planning and delivering engaging and interactive English sessions for learners working towards all levels of Functional Skills English.
  • • Delivering classroom based sessions across our Accrington and Bury centres.

Applicants must have:

  • • A recognised teaching qualification eg CertED, PGCE, CTLLS, DTLLS.
  • • Minimum level 2 qualification in English.

Desirable requirements:

  • • Knowledge and understanding of the Functional Skills Subject Content.
  • • Previous experience of delivering Functional Skills qualifications.
  • • Level 4/5 Subject Specialism in English.
  • • A knowledge of Study Programme.

The successful applicant will be:

  • • Flexible/adaptable to the needs of the learners on the programme.
  • • Motivated to provide an excellent learning experience.
  • • Willing to undertake CPD as and when required.

 

Reporting to the Skills for Life Manager, the role will be to deliver innovative teaching and learning English sessions to Study Programme learners.

The role will require high quality teaching, support, planning, monitoring and formal reviewing of the learner’s progress from the start through to the final assessment.
