Description

• Build strong relationships with applicants and employers, responding to enquiries and providing outstanding levels of information and advice.
• Assess employers to ensure they meet NLTG vacancy raising requirements.
• Ensure the accurate inputting of vacancies via relevant platforms (NLTG’s website, the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) website, with Connexions and Jobcentre Plus etc).
• Update employers regularly (every 2 weeks as a minimum) regarding the status of vacancies.
• Match applicants to vacancies and arrange/conduct applicant initial interviews/assessments.
• Arrange in-company interviews for applicants ensuring all relevant paperwork is made available to the company prior to interview,
• Notify applicants of interview results and provide relevant feedback. Where necessary, arrange further interviews for unsuccessful applicants and further applicants for companies with unfilled vacancies.
• Ensure all starts paperwork is processed correctly, efficiently and submitted as per NLTG requirements.
• Ensure the accurate inputting of applicant/vacancy related data using NLTG’s bespoke management information systems to effectively manage/track engagement activities.
• Ensure vacancy and applicant databases/spreadsheets are updated daily.
• Answer incoming calls and provide relevant information and advice.
• Liaise with the Employer Engagement Team to update or request help to obtain interviews and vacancies for applicants.
• Support schools liaison/promotional activities by attending a range of events/exhibitions/shows (including attendance both during the day and out of hours/evenings).
• Assist with event/conference facility set up/refreshments at The Old Bakery.

Educational Requirements

English at Grade 4/C or above.
Maths at Grade 4/C or above, or willingness to work towards.
