GQA Award

Below is the nomination speech from GQA Chief Executive Officer, Mick Clayton:

“The first winner of the GQA Award for ‘Making a Difference’ is someone that our founding Chief Executive, Allan Murray, knew well; and I have personally known this person for over 12 years and have always found them to be personable, knowledgeable and committed to everything they are involved in.

In discussions, you know you are getting honesty and clarity and will be left in no doubt as to their thoughts.

Why does this person make a difference? The nomination highlights experience, passion and quality and I am in agreement with that.

This person leads the team at a long established and respected GQA Approved Centre (North Lancs Training Group), always involved in qualification and assessment review and developments, shaping GQA qualifications and having been involved directly with over 1000 candidates during his time working with GQA.”
