Outward Bound awards presentation 2016

On June 27th 2016, almost 20 years to the day of when HRH The Duke of Edinburgh spoke to Jim about the Patrons company, NLTG presented Outward Bound Certificates to the latest attendees of the course.  10 Study Programme Students (1st picture) and 6 Apprentices along with 6 pupils from Broadfield Specialist School (2nd picture) were all asked to recount their memories of their courses held at the beginning of May 2016.

The Study Programme students travelled by train to Loch Eil near Fort William in Scotland and the apprentices and the students of Broadfield school went to Ullswater in the Lake District experiencing a week of adventure and character building exercises, such as Ghyl Scrambling, Kayaking, Canoeing, orienteering and other team building activities.

Following the impressive presentations, a celebration lunch was held in the Titanic restaurant for all of the students and apprentices and their tutors and teachers.
