Description

Job Purpose: -

The Apprentice Warehouse Assistant will support the warehouse and distribution function of the organisation to help prepare products to be shipped to customers. The role will also involve handling and processing returns.

Key Responsibilities: -

•Completing shipments by processing orders and loading orders to be sent out within a warehouse environment.
•Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders;
• Pulling materials and products;
• Packing boxes and placing orders in the delivery area.
• Ensure inventory control by making sure stock is recorded and documented.
• Provide a quality service by following the organisations policies and standards.
• Keep a safe and clean working environment by making sure shelves, pallet areas and workstations are kept tidy and clear.
• Complete daily reports by entering required information through warehouse tracking systems.
• To report and escalate problems and issues to management as and when required.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks and other associated duties required by the organisation as needed.

• Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail.
• Flexible and willing to take on a variety of different tasks.
• Reliable and dependable to complete tasks as instructed.
• Good literacy and numeracy (including IT literacy)
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Keen & Willing to learn
• Punctual
