Achievement Through Collaboration Multi-Academy Trust is a Trust currently consisting of 4 schools across the North-West. These are Witton Park Academy (Blackburn), Bowland High School (Ribble Valley), Rose acre Primary Academy (Blackpool) and Thames Primary Academy (Blackpool). Our central Trust Office is based adjacent to Witton Park Academy in Blackburn, which is where this post will be predominantly based. The Trust is currently going through a 3-year investment for our Digital Strategy, aiming to align technology across the Trust, to aid with providing innovative teaching and learning. As part of this Digital Strategy, the IT team has been reformed and will be supporting all the Schools in the Trust moving forward, allowing for a range of opportunities and experience to enhance knowledge and develop.

Description

- Provide high quality customer service whilst providing and assisting with 1st line support to users across the Trust, and supported sites and Schools. This includes helping to operate the trust-wide IT Helpdesk.
- Help the IT team to provide expert soft support to all users in both classroom and office settings.
- Work with enterprise-level equipment and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot, repair and process student & staff devices.
- Act as an advocate for the IT team, and the effective use of technology in education.
- Raising and safeguarding/prevent concerns that become apparent.

- Confident, and with the ability to provide support to users of all ages.
- Adaptable with good problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Working towards the target / predicted grades of 5 level 4s, including Maths, English and a relevant subject to the role. If the candidate has not had the opportunity to study a relevant subject, then the Trust will accept a portfolio of evidence of IT-based knowledge, as the candidate sees fit. We are willing to assess this on an individual basis.
