Sylvan manufactures from its Nottinghamshire based factory and offers guidance and support throughout the entire furniture manufacturing process. From design through to installation, Sylvan will provide expert advice and direction to clients from within the hospitality, hotel, care and contract sectors.
Having now been established for over 25 years, we offer good quality hotel and contract furniture, excellent aftercare service as well as expert advice when needed.
The business has grown significantly over the past 10 years with hotels, care homes and the contract furniture market making up 90% of our turnover.

• Produce components for furniture using CNC machines.
• This includes setting up, operating and maintaining CNC machines
• Using saws to cut, plane, shape and sand all types of wood and man-made wood components.

• Have an interest in computers and machines.
• Need to be able to work using your own initiative and motivate yourself.
• An ability to work to targets in terms of output and quality standards is essential.
• Must want a career in furniture manufacturing
• Have good practical skills
• Keen and willing to learn
• Work well in a team
• A good timekeeper.
