The practice has been based at West Paddock since 1993 and we work as team-based care including GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistant, Nurse Associate, Medicines Co-ordinators, Administrators, Receptionists and Practice Management.
Worden Medical Centre is part of Leyland Primary Care Network, who provide the Practice with a Paramedic, Pharmacist and Physiotherapist, we have support from the Lifestyle Improvement Team who provide non-medical social care interventions.

Description

Administration
Duties can include but are not limited to.
• Supporting the administration and receptionist teams with patient registration.
• Processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner and in accordance with current policies.
• Scanning, opening the post, and dealing with incoming emails.
• Support staff with the distribution of information, messages, and enquiries for the clinical team.
• Liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
Reception
• Working on the reception desk and telephone to signpost patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or service.
• Working as part of the practice’s multidisciplinary team.
