Since 2018, Connected Security Group has been providing licensed individuals to a variety of hospitality sectors (pubs / casinos / hotels) as well as the National Health Service. As part of the summer season in previous years, we have helped support large event’s companies with the deployment of licensed events staff. As part of our ongoing investment, we have a timekeeping system for the deployment of staff. Shifts are allocated on a weekly basis and we track and record all data which is stored in case of disputes at a later date. The control room operates seven days a week and over a 24 hour duration. At the start of September 2020, the organisation will be offering various training courses to support employment opportunities for local people. These courses will include the following:

L2 Door Supervision
L2 CCTV Operator
First Aid
Maths & English (Basic & Intermediary)
IT Skills

All courses above will further support individuals during job applications, gaining skills and qualifications will allow them to apply transferable skills on their professions within the industry.

The training facility can have a maximum of twenty-five learners over a four-day duration. All courses are delivered by qualified tutors and accredited by awarding bodies. On completion of studies and in receipt of results, certificates are issued for all courses that learners have completed to ensure they can apply directly with the SIA (Security Industry Authority) responsible for the awarding of security licencing.

Once learners have completed the course and successfully obtained licencing, they will have an opportunity for an interview with our company. At this interview we will disclose work we have on offer as well as other employment opportunities.

Description

Connected Security Group are recruiting for a first-class apprentice to work within the business administration team. The role is very much based around being a team player, who has a flexible attitude and is willing to get the job done. The key function is to assist our office manager with the day-to-day administrative control of the business.
Duties will include:
• Management and distribution of incoming and outgoing post
• Answering incoming calls, taking messages, and following through where required.
• Booking courses for prospective learners.
• Collating emails in a timely manner and effectively communicating.
• Greet any visitors to the offices in a professional manner and provide refreshments when appropriate.
• Audio typing of reports and letters with speed and accuracy.
• Data entry for the account’s payable invoices (in-house training
