New opportunity not to be missed! GJ Plastics Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Large Format Print Apprentice to join our team based in Radcliffe, Bury. We are a long established Point of Sale Display and Signage manufacturer.

The Large Format Print Apprentice will undertake a Level 2 NVQ in Lean Manufacturing and will be working in the print department and occasionally the fabrication department.

Fabrication and Print Apprentice duties will include:
• To ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the Large Format printers and flatbed cutters
• To set artworks up in Adobe Illustrator and send to Onyx Rip Software
• Laminating printed boards
• Some vinyl application
• Banner finishing
• Quality control
• Waste reduction where possible
• General House Keeping Duties
• Other ad hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:

•Ability to work in a fast paced, sometime pressurised environment.
•Ability to manage own workload and work to tight deadlines
•The Ability to work well in a small team, as it is often a team effort on most orders that are produced
•Being reliable and on time is very important to this role
