Apprenticeships are not a second route or the option for less academic people, Apprenticeships are for people who want to gain a qualification in a hands on, real life working environment. Level 2 Apprenticeships are approximately equivalent to 5 GCSEs, Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeships are approximately equivalent to 2 A-Levels and Level 4 Apprenticeships are approximately equivalent to a foundation degree.
