Course Content

• Switching on and shutting down a computer safely.
• Using a mouse.
• Creating folders for your work.
• Creating emails and documents.
• Using spreadsheets.
• Saving your work.
• Printing work.
• Introduction to the use of smart phones/tablets.
• Introduction to use of ‘Find a Job’ i.e. the Government online jobs portal.

• At enrolment, please bring in your ID and proof of benefits. Valid ID includes passport, full driver’s licence, birth certificate, national identity card (EU) and Northern Ireland voters card.
• Courses are FREE if you are in receipt of benefits in the work related activity group.
• Free light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

• Induction to include English and maths diagnostics, please do not forget to bring your glasses if you need them.
