Safeguarding

We want all learners to feel safe so that they are able to learn. This means we have a commitment to the well-being of all our learners but especially to those who are aged under 18. We will do this by continually raising your awareness of potential risks to harm and informing you of how to get support if you need it. There are a number of useful sites available via NLTG’s Learner Hub, and below are just some of the sites that provide help, advice and Safeguarding training.  Please click on the images to access the relevant site.

The NSPCC website offers a variety of Safeguarding advice and comprehensive Safeguarding training.
The CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Safety) website provides advice relating to, and the facility to report, online image concerns.

This Lancashire Safeguarding Partnership site offers a range of free Safeguarding courses.
