We are excited to announce an opening for an Apprentice to join our team. As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in various areas of our production operations including wood machining and the use of hand tools. This position offers hands-on training and growth potential within our organisation

Description

Assist in the manufacturing of timber frame house panels to a required specification
• Fabricate and assemble components under the guidance of experienced professionals
• Learn to read and follow drawings using an Ipad
• Learn to operate hand tools effectively and safely
• Support team members in various production tasks
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment and follow a good standard of health and safety
• Following instructions from cutting lists and drawings from ipads.
• Using power tools, including nail guns & drills.
• Assembling pre cut timber.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm to learn and develop skills in a manufacturing environment
• Keen interest in working with wood
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team
• Willingness to engage in physical tasks that involve heavy lifting
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
