Description

• Prepare vegetables, salads, fish and meat
• Making sauces, soups and salad dressing
• Cooking meals and plating up
• Knife work
• Following recipes and menu specifications
• Shadowing head chefs
• Cleanliness within the kitchen
• Making fresh homemade pies, bread, lasagnes and desserts
• Allergen awareness
• To assist in ensuring both catering facilities are fully compliant with the Food Hygiene and Safety Legislation.

Requirements

• Clean and hygienic
• Willingness to learn
• Must have reliable transport to and from work especially with the working hours.
• Must have a passion for food
• Team working
• Able to work under pressure
• Use own initiative
