NE Truck Spares is a family ran business established in 1974. Originally we were a sole trader selling parts from the back of a van, 47 years later we are a Limited Company and have 85 staff working across 20 locations spanning England and Scotland. Our customers are wide and diverse from Blue Chip companies to owner drivers. We use modern technology to ensure we deliver the right parts at the right time at the right cost to our customers.

• We are looking to employ a Trainee Parts Advisor. The successful candidate should have a 'can do' attitude, there's a career path towards Parts Advisor and Senior Parts Advisor roles.
• To ensure that all required parts for any particular repair or service and additional accessories are available or procured at the earliest opportunity.
• Check that all stock is in first-class condition.
• Ensure that stock is only issued in accordance with policy regarding payment or charge.
• Maintain stock control system.
• Work with other departments to facilitate the efficient delivery of parts.
• Assist all staff and customers in parts identification.
• Ensure all paperwork, documentation and requisitions are properly recorded within stock control system.

• Friendly and approachable
• Essential - clean driving license with 1 year experience of driving
• IT literate
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Physically fit to manual handle heavy parts
• Able work alone and in a team
