D & B Cabinets is a family run business that have provided high quality kitchen, bedroom and office cabinetry for over 25 years. Based in Great Harwood, we deal with kitchen showrooms and tradesmen from across the North West.

Their extensive knowledge, professionalism and excellent customer care has resulted in them becoming one of the leading manufacturers of fitted furniture.

•Initially the role will involve building cabinets and understanding the procedure to manufacturing the units, the apprentice will be guided and shown how to accessorise jobs to the customers specification.
•Working with a small team of 4-5 members of staff, including the directors of the company in the workshop and 3 members of staff in the office.
•The apprentice will be required to assist customer collections, this will include the loading and unloading of our delivery van.
•The apprentice will undergo training such as manual handling, handling of tools such as drills, screwdrivers, hammers to name a few.
•The apprentice will then work their way around the workshop, eventually becoming competant in using all the workshop machinery.
