North Lancs Training Group are looking to employ someone with a background in Insurance, to lead the way on our Level 2 Customer Service with Insurance qualification, and to help us put together our Level 3 Customer Service with Insurance qualification in the future.

It’ll be your job to make sure our learners in the insurance industry are on track to gain their qualification, regularly visiting them and guiding them with your experience and knowledge of the industry.

You’ll be visiting learners mainly around the North of England, with some occasional travel to the South, to offer your advice, assess learners on their progress, set targets and goals for next visits and make sure employers are happy with the progress of the learners etc. As well as identifying opportunities to bring in more vacancies, work with other departments to ensure the over all success of the business.

The Role

We’re looking for someone with hands on experience in the Insurance industry, whether in sales, claims, IFA, consultant etc. who is interested in moving away from the industry and teaching the next generation everything you know. There’s no need to come from a tutor position before as we’ll provide the training necessary for it. You must also have a minimum of Cert CII.

Most importantly to our business is your attitude and enthusiasm, you must be willing to really guide and help these young apprentices in their career to make sure they succeed. This role may require you to do a lot of travel, so we don’t want you to be phased by that, but still turn up to every visit enthusiastic and ready to pass on your knowledge.

Please note that whilst this role is based in Lancashire ideally, there will be occasional travel south, but expenses and accommodation will be covered.
