Investors in People status retained!

After our Investors in People reassessment in March 2020, we are delighted to announce that we have retained…

Investors in People

Investors in People is a recognition that means principles and practices around supporting people are in place and everyone understands how to use them to make work better!

Investors in People Practitioner, Roger Bradshaw said, “This was a strong assessment performance from an organisation that has been Investor in People recognised since 1993.”

NLTG were first awarded Investors in People status back in January 1993 and were one of the first organisations in the North West to achieve the recognition. 27 years later and we have successful retained that status.

The report continues, “The organisation has changed considerably since the last assessment. There is new leadership in place ‘at the top’ and a fundamental review of the business has taken place leading to changes to ensure the business is sustainable for the future.

“There is a positive ‘can do’ culture at NLTG. People demonstrate high levels of loyalty, commitment and engagement. People trust leadership and feel valued for the contribution they make. People behave in an empowered way and are trusted to make decisions.

“Commitment to learning and development is a high priority. This has led to effective building of internal capability over time. The existing performance management system has been reviewed and improved. Managers are more accountable for improving performance in their areas of responsibility. People indicated and described how team working has been improved, particularly cross team working through improved internal communication and collaboration.”

We would like to thank our team for their contribution and dedication because this is a great achievement for all of us. The essence of accreditation is that every single person is involved in supporting each other and is doing their best to make working at NLTG better.
