Charlie was initially placed on a Traineeship with NLTG and then progressed to a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Fenestration. He is now keen to enrol to the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship through NLTG. Charlie installs windows and doors on construction sites for customers such as Taylor Wimpey, Redrow, Barratt Homes, Bovis Homes and many more.

On receipt of his certificate, Charlie said, “I am glad that I chose to work out on site. I have enjoyed learning on site and enjoy meeting different people each day. I get on well with my supervisor Jonty and everyone else at New View. I am very grateful to the staff at NLTG, such as Michelle Howell and Paul Fairhurst, who have supported me throughout my Traineeship and Apprenticeship. I am glad I chose this career path.”

New View Window Systems Installations Manager, Tom Speakman said, “Charlie has been a good example of how beneficial the Traineeship and Apprenticeship system can be. Charlie is happy in his role, just as we are happy with the outcome.”
