Description

The position reports to the Senior Production Planner & Production Manager. The purpose of the role is to plan, implement and deliver planned production schedules on behalf of the company. This includes any activities in order to meet company targets for the retention of growth and profitability, and to contribute on all aspects of best practice on behalf of the business.

Establish, manage, and monitor production processes, communications, and systems.
. Plan, organise and direct the activities of the Technical Service Dept.
. Assist staff in the delivery of production related services as necessary and appropriate.
. Prioritize the assignment of requests for production.

Quality of Service

. Surveillance and reporting of practices and systems.
. Ensure all documentation is up to date and accurate.
. Liaise with other departments.

Safety of employees and company assets

. Ensure all current rules are strictly observed.
. Recommend any changes that will improve matters.
. Implement results of quality, environmental & safety audits.


General

. Ensure that all products and equipment are stored effectively, sensibly and safely.
. Ensure all areas are clean and tidy.

Associations

. Ensure good working knowledge of all other departments.
. Ensure that other Foreman / Managers are aware of problems in your area, which may affect them.
