• Reporting to, and working alongside the experienced CNC operator.
• Learning and using Alphacam, CNC software to program the machine and schedule work to be efficient, at capacity, accurate, minimizing waste.
• Interpreting construction drawings to breakdown into CNC components for CNC cutting.
• Learning and understanding different tooling for use on the CNC machine.
• Maintaining and cleaning tooling, CNC machines and working machinery.
• Checking components are produced with accuracy. Checking quality levels are maintained.
• Ordering materials, glues, screws for the CNC and generally in the workshop. Stock keeping of materials used.
