S+B is one of the UK's leading specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of innovative furniture systems for Laboratory & Educational environments.

The role will require working within a team of estimators and liaising daily with our external salesmen to understand enquiries and convert them into quotations for client consideration.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Have a developed understanding of all product ranges offered by S+B and be equipped to answer any queries a client may have.
• Communicate regularly via telephone and e-mail with the external sales team, and when required, directly with architects/builders/end users.
• Use Microsoft Navision software to book in enquiries and update the database of any potential leads and opportunities, and to update projects once quoted, so that the opportunity is recorded and tracked.
• Understand a client’s brief and create room design drawings using different software’s such as AutoCAD/REVIT/IMOS.
• Send drawings via e-mail for approval from the client before quoting.
• Handle queries from clients and discuss different product ranges. Advise and offer potential solutions to any obstacles raised.
• Use Microsoft Excel to generate quotations based on drawings produced by S+B, drawings submitted by clients, or schedules of items/Bills of quantities submitted by clients.
• Manage workload to ensure that all work is completed within the timeframes set by the Senior Estimator.
• Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
• Be willing to work overtime when required.

Essential:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel etc) Training will be provided in AutoCAD, REVIT, IMOS, Microsoft Navision and Virtual worlds if required.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work and communicate within a team environment.

• Willingness to work hard and learn their trade.
• Willingness to learn different aspects of the company and take on additional roles and responsibilities.

Desirable:
• Experience in a sales or customer orientated role
• Experience using AutoCAD or other design software tools
• Driving License

GCSE’s A-C in Maths and English (desired not essential).

25 Days holidays (3 must be used over the Xmas period).
