Description

• To assist in ensuring that the Elizabethan Academy becomes the school of choice for its’ key feeder schools
• To ensure that the admission PAN for year 7 and year 12 is over subscribed
• Deliver the annual marketing and communications plan that considers the full marketing and communications mix and aims to deliver a sense of school community and increase student numbers
• Deliver a positive public relations plan to promote the school in the local community and press.• Design, develop and create a range of promotional materials to support the marketing and communications plan including prospectuses, brochures, advertisements, flyers, booklets, termly newsletters and other materials as appropriate
• Produce marketing and communications material to support and promote events and schools liaison activity including termly promotional newsletters with suitable photographs
• Take photos for marketing purposes in school and at external events
• Be responsible for checking GDPR implications for any marketing material
• Create material and manage content of the school website and social media sites in coordinated way to improve the school’s web presence and increase usage of the website
• Liaise and coordinate with colleagues to ensure that display materials across school are current, relevant and consistently comply with brand guidelines.
• Draft press releases and news articles
• Support Line Manager or SLT with all marketing related tasks
• Under the direction of your Line Manager, implement a whole school communications programme which ensures highly effective communication with students and families
• Ensure all communication – emails/letters/texts- reflect consistently high standards and maintain Elizabethan Academy branding across all communications
• Develop, lead and deliver a pro active online presence for the school e.g. a school blog
• Develop the use of twitter and other social media networking opportunities professionally within school.
• Develop and lead a positive public relations strategy, with weekly press releases promoting the work and successes within school life, termly advertorial developments, coordinated strategic advertising
• Develop and lead a positive public relations campaign around key results days, involving developing relationships with local journalists and consistent PR etc.
Studying • Working conscientiously towards attaining the NVQ
• Committing to dedicate time outside your contracted hours as required for the completion of assignments.
