Operation of a Biesse CNC machining centre:
• Measuring and marking out work pieces and product
• Programming
• Editing existing programs
• Operative maintenance processes
• Fault finding and resolution
• Operation of supporting production machinery (subject to training)
• Handling using mechanical aids
• Tool selection ( cutters, drills & saws)
• Reading and understanding technical drawings
• Adherence to quality standards
• Machining of vision panels, hinge recesses, lock bodies, keeps, spy holes, letter plates, intumescent grooves, joints and other processes
• Identification of timber species
• Material specifications and attributes
• General manufacturing operation

• Good numeracy & literacy skills
• Good communication skills
• Good IT skills
• Ability to work independently
• Able to work as part of a team
• The role is based in Hartlepool, you must be able to make your way to work

GCSE 4-9 in maths and English (desired not essential).
