Description

• Place orders, progress and chase deliveries with suppliers, port agents and hauliers
• Receive goods, recording electronic data and administrating paperwork
• Ensure all required data is input accurately and promptly onto the stock database
• Monitor supply and expected arrival dates of goods
• Create and maintain professional relationships with all suppliers
• Source specialist suppliers and negotiate prices within defined company guidelines
• Monitor subcontract workers and other visitors to site
• Liaise with and support all departments of the business
• Helping maintain Health and Safety standards
• Assist with implementing new procedures and processes as appropriate, to improve product supply and management of all purchasing tasks

Requirements

• Keen and willing to learn
• Good communication skills
• Good telephone manner
•A driver is desirable for this role
