Family run business, trading for 40 years on the same site.

Started off refurbishing vacuum cleaners and now refurbish just about any item from a vacuum cleaner to a Christmas tree.

• Processing return electrical and non electrical items and refurbishing them
• Unpacking, testing, cleaning, repairing & repackaging items for re-sale.
• Labelling products once they have refurbished.
• Identifying products on job pallets
• Changing motors and belts as part of processing them
• Assembling and disassembling the products
• Identifying damaged goods and striping them down into saleable parts where practical to avoid sending the parts to landfill.
• Any cardboard waste suitable for shredding will be sent to the shredding area and can then be used for packaging.

• Basic numeracy and literacy are essential to succeeding in this role
• The ideal candidate is hard working and able to work as part of a team.
• Computer skills and working knowledge of Excel would be a significant advantage.

There ate no educations requirement's required.
