We started our business in 1967. Our operating facility is located on a 3-acre site, alongside the motorway network, and covers 40,000 sq. ft. of office and factory space. Throughout the whole factory, we maximize each and every workspace to get the most out of each square foot.

We are proud of the fact we have maintained a simple controlled approach to our business and are still owned and run by family members. This is down to the enthusiasm and determination of the workforce trying to continuously better themselves individually and as a team.

Our expanding workforce is expertly trained, skilled, and committed to the business. Designing and manufacturing products, tailored to the client’s needs are at the forefront of everything here at Watson’s and everyone strives to achieve this to the best of their abilities.

- Measuring and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery
- Operating CNC equipment. Training provided.
- Assembling products.
- Reporting equipment faults to supervision.
- Finishing products, for example cleaning ready for packing.
- Using lifting equipment like pump trucks and forklift trucks, if you have a fork lift truck licence.
- Packing goods ready for shipment.
- Cleaning and basic maintenance in work areas and machinery.
- You'll usually work as part of a team under the supervision leader, carrying out several tasks within the same shift.

Your main place of work is within the factory. You may spend a lot of your time standing while operating machinery or workbench or assembly line.
You will need to wear protective clothing, like overalls and safety shoes. Safety Shoes to be provided by yourself. All other necessary PPE to be provided by the company.
