Company Bio

Forest Sofa is a UK upholstery furniture manufacturer: designing, developing and producing a range of vintage, contemporary, leather and fabric sofas as well as upholstered accessories.

All items featured on this site are individually hand-made in our Greater Manchester factory. We control the entire production process, from the hardwood frame construction and choice of wood for the feet, to the final stages of hand finishing in production, including individual studding on our Chesterfield Sofa range.

Our furniture is manufactured to order within our typical production time of 4-6 weeks from order, we only supply our products to independent retailers and interior designers both large and small across the UK and internationally.

Recent years have seen a number of changes in customer requirements and we have adapted our designs and products ensuring we continue to grow. Part of our success is our ability to give our customers what they want and to respond to those needs quickly. By having a dedicated in house design and development team we can provide bespoke designs and exclusive lines tailored to individual client needs. Our in house development service ensures that we will always be able to respond to ever-changing needs and are at the front of the line with regards the latest design innovations.

The diversity of our product range means that retailers can select from a number of pieces to appeal to a wide clientele: from traditional sofas such as the classic antique Chesterfields based on 19th Century design to the fresh, contemporary fabric designs that are so universally popular across the country. All of our sofas are produced with the greatest care and attention to detail by our skilled craftsmen. We provide delivery to individual stores or warehouse locations with lead times as short as 2 weeks when required but typical production times of just 4 weeks.

All of our furniture is manufactured to a minimum crib 3 standard for domestic use, but we also produce furniture to crib 5 standards for commercial use.

We also supply hotel furniture, including headboards and upholstered divans, restaurant furniture including dining tables and chairs and also bar furniture with sofas as well as tubs and stools.
