This is an exciting opportunity for a long term career with a leading UK manufacturer based in Hessle. You will have the opportunity to work in all departments to gain a full understanding of the business as a whole, to develop your skills knowledge; starting with manufacturing.
Over time you will be trained to operate machinery with the latest production technology, with a focus on quality. You will also gain a full understanding of the warehouse, despatching goods and stock control procedures.
Duties will include;
• Learning all aspects of the business starting within manufacturing initially as packer / Assistant Operator
• You will be trained to operate machinery in line with company procedure
• Completing paperwork and documentation accurately
• Ensure that machinery is kept clean and that the surrounding areas are cleaned according to procedure.
• Carryout checks to maintain product quality
• Sorting and packing of products as they come out
• Assisting Operators, Lead Operators and the wider team
• Loading the machines
• Testing products for quality
• Adhering to strict health & safety procedures

• Willing to learn and develop skills
• Desire to work within a manufacturing environment

• Able to use initiative
• Comfortable handling machinery (training provided)
