Hospitality managers work across a huge variety of organisations including bars, restaurants, cafés, conference centres, banqueting venues, hotels and contract caterers. They have a passion for exceeding customers’ expectations, a high level of responsibility and are accountable for fulfilling the business vision and objectives which requires excellent business, people and customer relation skills. Individuals in this role are highly motivated team leaders that combine a talent for management and specific industry skills and thrive on the customer facing nature of the role.

This Apprenticeship will support the development of a range of management skills, knowledge and behaviours for those working in job roles including:
• Food and/or Beverage Manager
• Housekeeping Manager
• Front Office Manager
• Hospitality General Manager
• Kitchen Manager/Executive Head Chef
• Accommodation Manager

Course Duration

18 Months

Entry Requirements

You must have maths and English qualifications at Level 2 (e.g. GCSEs or Functional Skills) and will have to take a Skills Scan to ensure your current level of maths and English is at the required level.

Assessment

Assessment is via:
• a multiple choice test
• completion of a business project
• a professional discussion

Progression

After completing the Level 4 Apprenticeship, you can progress onto further study in the Catering and Hospitality sector and higher level career opportunities or qualifications in management, professional recognition awards, or higher education qualifications.
