On the Logistics Operations Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship you’ll hold a management role for a logistics company. As an apprentice, your duties may involve transportation, scheduling the movement of goods by road, rail, sea or air, stock control, warehousing, and/or monitoring the flow of goods and materials.

You’ll be responsible for improving team performance, the day-to-day running of things and making sure that quality, cost and efficiency of the supply chain meet the standards required. You’ll learn a range of skills, which could include monitoring stock and keeping records; managing the receipt, storage or dispatch of goods; developing relationships with customers and suppliers; and providing leadership for your team. After completing the level 3 advanced apprenticeship you could progress onto a job such as a Traffic Office, Team Member, Lead Driver, Senior Warehouse Operative.

Progression

After completing the Level 3 Apprenticeship, you can progress onto further study in the Warehouse and Logistics sector.
