The International Trade and Logistics Operations qualification is for those who are in administrative roles within the logistics sector and who are involved in arranging the international transportation of goods.

You’ll work as part of a team to arrange the import and export of goods by a combination of road, air, rail or sea transportation, to locations around the world. You may work as a freight forwarder or import/export clerk, and will gain an understanding of: the different types of transportation available; customs, financial and other types of documentation; how to select carriers and arrange transportation services. You’ll need to be flexible as the role may require you to work shifts including nights, evenings and weekends.
