Case Study

Lee Darbyshire at Sofology

I have worked for Sofology for almost 9 years now and whilst being Inspections Supervisor at Head Office I found out about Apprenticeships through speaking to others who were already on with theirs with NLTG. I have done my NVQ Level 3 in Management and have just stared my Level 4. Doing the qualifications has helped me to become Global Inspections Supervisor looking after all 6 of the depot’s nationwide. I enjoyed the different types of tasks and assignments that were assigned to me, researching the different criteria, and also the 1-1 learning aspect of the qualification. Doing the Apprenticeship has helped me to offer advice and support to the depots whilst also giving me clarity on a lot of things. It has developed me to be more confident in team management and also a thoroughness to see things through.
