The Glazing Level 2 qualification is a competence-based qualification for individuals working in glazing, such as installers and maintainers of glass in window and door installations.

You’ll be responsible for transporting materials, preparing work sites, cutting glass and installing glazing systems to existing items such as doors and windows and internal screens in a range of residential, commercial and public properties. The objectives of the qualification include meeting relevant programmes of learning and supporting a role in the workplace.

Entry Requirments

You will need English and maths at GCSE Grade E / 2, or equivalent qualifications (eg Entry Level 3). If you do not have English or maths at this level, we will invite you to take a Skills Scan to check your current level of skill.

Assessment

• Practical observation in your workplace plus evidence of your skills and knowledge such as witness testimonies or training records.
