The Glazing Level 3 qualification is for individuals working in glazing, installing glazing systems, investigating and resolving technical problems and leading teams. This can also involve installation of architectural stain glass.

All learners will cover the essential areas of health and safety, installations, confirming requirements, handling materials and equipment and preparatory tasks relating to glazing working environments. This qualification is suitable for those who are experienced, capable of dealing with a wide range of problems, including working with glazing installations that have complex requirements.

20 Months

Entry Requirments

You will need English and maths at GCSE Grade D/3 or above, or equivalent qualifications (eg Functional Skills at Level 1). If you do not have English or maths at this level, we will invite you to take a Skills Scan to check your current level of skill.

Assessment

• Practical observation in your workplace plus evidence of your skills and knowledge such as witness testimonies or training records.

Progression

After completing the Level 3 Apprenticeship, you can progress onto further study in the Glass Occupations sector or even a qualification in management.
