The Glass Related Distribution and Warehousing Level 3 qualification is intended for those who are experienced in the distribution and/or warehousing of glass and glass related products.

This qualification is suitable different job roles such as:
• Warehouse Manager - Ensure all warehouse tasks and duties are completed in line with company policy. Would carry the responsibility for checking the work of those below, allocating tasks and communicating with other agencies.
• Warehouse Team Leader - Would be responsible to either the supervisor or Manager for the smooth running of the team and for ensuring dispatch and receipt documentation for consignments are checked correctly.
• Stock Supervisor - Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom or warehouse,

Course Duration

20 Months

Entry Requirments

You will need English and maths at GCSE Grade D/3 or above, or equivalent qualifications (eg Functional Skills at Level 1). If you do not have English or maths at this level, we will invite you to take a Skills Scan to check your current level of skill.

Assessment

• Practical observation in your workplace plus evidence of your skills and knowledge such as witness testimonies or training records.

Progression

After completing the Level 3 Apprenticeship, you can progress onto further study in the Glass Occupations sector or even a qualification in management.
