The Glass Related Distribution and Warehousing Level 3 qualification is intended for those who are experienced in the distribution and/or warehousing of glass and glass related products.

This qualification is suitable for different job roles, such as:
• Warehouse Manager - responsible for ensuring all warehouse tasks and duties are completed in line with company policy. Would be responsible for checking the work of team leaders/supervisors, allocating tasks and communicating with other agencies.
• Warehouse Team Leader - would be responsible to either the Supervisor or Manager for the smooth running of the team and for ensuring dispatch and receipt documentation for consignments are checked correctly.
• Stock Supervisor - supervises and coordinates the activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in a stockroom or warehouse.

Entry Requirements

You will have to take a Skills Scan to ensure your current level of maths and English is at the required level.

Assessment

• Practical observation in your workplace plus evidence of your skills and knowledge such as witness testimonies or training records.

Progression

After completing the Level 3 Apprenticeship, you can progress onto further study in the Glass Occupations sector or even a qualification in management.
