The Curtain Wall Installation qualification is for individuals working as Curtain Wall Installers.

You'll prepare for the installation and install curtain walls which are the robust (usually aluminium-framed) structures to the outside of buildings such as shopping centres, retail parks, football stadiums etc, containing in-fills of glass, metal or thin stone. Curtain walls may be ‘stick’ systems (installed and glazed piece by piece), or large ‘unitised’ systems (assembled and glazed in a factory, shipped to a construction site and installed in large sections). You may also be involved in the installation of internal building screens or partitions.
