The Business Improvement Techniques qualification equips apprentices with the skills and knowledge needed to ensure that business processes are planned and executed as efficiently as possible, identify and, minimise waste whilst ensuring the highest quality.
This qualification is suitable different job roles such as:
• Team leader - Leads a team to develop and support business efficiency to stream-line practices and create a culture of continuous improvement.
• Supervisor - Supports a team applying lean techniques to improve quality, cost and delivery.
• Quality Leader - Monitors quality in the manufacturing process, generates statistical and graphic data to measure and ensures continuous quality improvement.
You will need English and maths at GCSE Grade E / 2, or equivalent qualifications (eg Entry Level 3). If you do not have English or maths at this level, we will invite you to take a Skills Scan to check your current level of skill.
