What are Adult Learning courses?

If you’re aged 19+, live in Lancashire and are claiming benefits or are a job seeker, we offer a range of short courses, aimed at improving your prospects of securing employment.

Our aim is to see our learners move into the jobs market and build careers, but also build new skills to allow them to move closer to the jobs market, whether learning how to use a computer or gaining new interpersonal skills.

Many of our learners come to us to gain qualifications, which open doors to further and higher education courses including university degrees, as they seek employment in industries including Care or the NHS.
