What is Train to Gain?
An exciting opportunity for your employees, over the age of 25, to access funded training programmes and help them achieve either their first, or in some cases, an additional level 2 qualification. Over the last 4 years, Train to Gain has proved to be a great success, improving staff motivation and self confidence. The Train to Gain programme can only continue to improve your workforce and help your business.
Who can access Train to Gain?
Your employees are eligible if they:
- hold a contract of employment.
- are a citizen of an EU member state.
- are not currently on a Government funded programme.
- do not have 5 GCSE grades A-C, or NVQ level 2 or equivalent **.
- have not achieved an academic qualification at degree or A level**.
** In some cases learners will be able to access additional qualifications, dependant on availability.
The following NVQs are available via the Train to Gain programme:
Furniture Interior Occupations
Catering and Hospitality
Food Manufacturing
Information Technology
Business Administration
Customer Service
Team Leading
Glass Occupations
Performing Manufacturing Operations
Business Improvement Techniques
Warehouse and Storage
All learners will receive support for literacy and numeracy whilst working towards their chosen NVQ.
