NLTG's Glass Team Do it Again!

The Glass Team at NLTG have recently been awarded the Glass Training LTD, Training Provider of the Year award for the second time at a ceremony at the Novotel in Manchester in October. Team co-ordinator Paul Fairhurst received the award on behalf of the team and said "This is the second time we have achieved this award and we are very proud, we last won it in 2004 when the team consisted of myself and Dean Johnson, since then we have grown to accommodate 6 assessors and this shows that the quality of provision we provide has not dropped. We see it as a mark of quality which says we are good at what we do and it is recognised by others nationally."
North Lancs Training Group - Industry Training Provider of the Year 2009
North Lancs Training Group has been awarded the Glass Industry Training Provider of the year for 2009. Glass Training Ltd has worked closely with North Lancs Training Group for over a decade. They have developed an effective working relationship with employers in the glass and fenestration industry and made a significant contribution in supporting small and medium sized employers.
This award is being made for their professionalism and dedication in supporting learners in the workplace and following Glass Training Ltd's lead to develop innovative methods to ensure that young people and adults reach a level of competency and commitment beyond what is normally expected in our sector. They have received the greatest number of satisfaction results from our telephone survey in 2009. We wish them every success for the future and intend to give them the support they need to continue to make a success of learning and assessment in the workplace.
