North Lancs Training Group Ltd are pleased to welcome Solo Sports to the Group.
Established in 2001, Solo Sports is a leading distributor of sporting goods within the U.K. There is an experienced and enthusiastic team led by Digby Gunson and Bob Johnson, original members of the management team that successfully bought out, developed and subsequently sold on, Lowe Alpine Ltd on a world wide basis, who manage and develop the commercial vitality of the company.
Current brands include Prince, the prestige performance racquet brand, with complimentary Prince (USA) branded products in footwear and accessories and Arena Swimwear (Italian) footwear and accessories. Other brands are located in another company, Mastco, for whom they provide all back office facilities including Tecnica ski and walking boots (Italian), Volkl skis and Marker Bindings (German). Brands complimentary to the ski hardware include Lorpen Socks (Spanish), Toko Workshop Equipment (Swiss), Kombi Gloves (Swedish) and Rehall Clothing (Netherlands).
The company's operations are located midway between the two main market areas in the U.K., Scotland and the South, at a place called Sedbergh. An in-house team of nine people cover sales and sales order processing, operations, finance and administration requirements. There are six field sales operatives, being a mixture of sales agents and representatives.
