EMPOWERMENT BRINGS ENGAGEMENT - CONSTRUCTION COURSE UPDATE
Our 14 Construction course learners enjoyed an action packed week of induction activities which included:
- background to the Construction industry
- a football skills training session with Coaever Coaching
- a visit to the National Football Museum which included a talk on the Munich air disaster
- a snooker competition featuring numeracy skills where all learners met seven times World Snooker legend, Stephen Hendry
All the learners received full protective clothing and tools in readiness for their second week in which they will begin attending Accrington and Rossendale college.
During the initial 5 days all 14 learners attended giving 100% attendance. Well done to all.
