
Granby Marketing is a company based in Blackburn whom deal with promotions on behalf of their clients. The company has been established for more than 11 years, with a workforce circa 80 employees. Granby Marketing has been working with the North Lancs Training Group since September 2003 and have 37 people either having completed a qualification or are currently working towards one with NLTG. There are 3 apprentices working in the contact centre whom are all working towards Customer Service qualifications, there are also people working on Warehouse, Business Admin and Essential Skills qualifications.
Granby actively promotes Apprenticeships within their company and all 3 Customer Service apprentices' came through the North Lancs Training Group recruitment process. Granby are extremely proactive in the development of their young people working closely with the NVQ and North Lancs Training Group. The company support the apprentices by giving them time to complete their work and encouraging them to take ownership for their qualifications. Both the Manager and Team Leader are fully behind the qualifications giving North Lancs Training Group regular access to the candidates along with support for the training officer.
